Lately, I've felt like a dud.
A dud, because I didn't go jumping off 15 bridges or taking cool flights to see the mountains, or shopping up a storm, or rafting, or canyoning.
Shoot, I didn't even know what canyoning was until this month, when several of my friends did it!
(they propel off of waterfalls and jump off things and wear harnesses and helmets, it's actually so exciting that I don't even understand it fully!)
I am holding my ground! Yes, I've tried adventurous things on the World Race before! I pet tigers and attempted volcano surfing (epic fail) and I've taken public transportation (extremely adventurous in a foreign country).
But month 11 is pretty much here, and I'm tired!
I'm really excited for India. I just found out today that I will be near the ocean (accurate prophecy given to me in January by my dear friend Amanda, that I would see the ocean in India, boom!) and I'm pumped to finish strong.
The fun part is that I'm so not done.
I'll get home and probably turn right back around to missions, local or international.
I have another blog about my plans when I get home, and it's kind of funny. At least I think it's funny. I'll post it in India 🙂
I just wanted to share with you guys that I currently feel boring, but I will make sure to hold my head up high and say "it's okay that I don't jump off bridges! I'm still cool!"
I'd like to think I'm as unpredictable as Texas weather or foreign internet. I go and do crazy wild stuff in Nicaragua and Thailand, but then I act boring in Nepal. You just never know what to expect. You think you know what I'm gonna do, then I do something sandwich (hangs head in shame, sorry that joke was awful, I couldn't stop myself…).
CHECK OUT MY PERSONAL BLOG, which is still running and will be my main blog after the race aka in FIVE WEEKS! Be sure to subscribe to it for my updates and random ramblings 🙂
Love yall <3
One thing you will never be called is boring! Love you!
Never boring love.
Take pictures of said ocean. I still have the picture in my head. I want to see if it is close.
if by dud you mean someone living the dream…then yes.:) praying for you guys as you wrap up!!!
Never ‘boring’, just gathering your strength, like the surfer watching the waves forming from afar, sitting on his surfboard…. then, as it draws near, he/she prepares to meet that wave!!! It’s India, baby, than Texas!!!
Love you (stay safe, in one piece….)
