Surreal.

Is this my life?

Before I even arrived in Ft. Lauderdale, God placed me with other racers in the flight. I got to meet new people, and see my dear friend Beka. We got to arrive together at the meeting place.

Then one by one, I got to hug my new family. I got to encourage, and laugh with them.

We loaded up our bags into a bus, then walked with our packs to our host church. This is when I thank the Lord for having a light pack… 40 lbs for a girl, not bad!!!

Bethel Romanian Baptist Church in Hollywood,FL hosted not only my squad, but also C and D squads. That’s over 120 people and staff! They opened their sanctuary, their halls, their kitchen, bathrooms, parking lots, and we invaded with our colorful chaos.

All the squads got to worship and fellowship together. I also got to spend amazing quality time with my D squad friends, which was an unexpected treat and answered prayer. Thank You God for making that happen. I got to pray with one of my best friends, receive her encouraging words, meet and pray with twitter friends (hahaha) and I got a couple of super special hugs. God is so epic. He is SO good to me.

I could go on and on about how blessed the last 3 days have been.

My team went to the beach together. I swam in the ocean in January… God bless Florida! We made a video while we were there, and I’ll hopefully get to post it here soon J My team leader, Pat, is great at editing and it’s almost ready.

Amazing time with my team, my squad, and my WR family. Spirit-filled worship. Encouragement. Affirmation. Inspiration.
