Day 4 in El Salvador has been a blast!!

We got to sleep in til after 9 am (whoa) and then went to the park to have a meeting. After the meeting we got to be kids again for a few minutes.

We had lunch and downtime, then we went to the church fellowship hall to clean and help them organize things. Here’s a before picture:

And an after picture:

We rode in an El Salvadorian bus, all cramped!! It was fun and we stood out like sore thumbs. We have been dubbed "Los Americanos."

^^ LOOK GRANDMA, I WORE THE SHIRT YOU GAVE ME!! ^^

Now we’re enjoying some more free time and cleaning up to go to church.
Bethany is going to preach tonight, and we’re preparing some more songs in Spanish for worship. A few more of us will share testimonies, so please keep us in your prayers for the Lord to use us to reach a deeper place in the hearts of the people here.

Love you guys!!

Angie, are you asking me if I’m ordained as a pastor? Nope, not ordained. We can all preach, our competence comes from God 🙂 and we’re all called to go preach, so it works out 🙂 Love you!

  7. Helena,

I’m sure your grandma is going to love the pic of you wearing the shirt with the map of Brazil! It means so much to us that you are taking on that part of you that is, YES, American, but from South America! We hope you have numerous chances to share with others about Brazil, a friendly, big, Christian, beautiful country… The country where you were born…

As you, I am proud to be an American: dual-citizen of Brazil and the USA!

    Love,
    Mamae
