Today was a long day of ministry, but I wanted to share with you what God did.
Church in the morning was good.
We’d been praying for God to move like never before in this church. For God to just show up and do something epic.
I’m not surprised He answered…
This afternoon, it happened.
Our squad leader Lindsay preached a beautiful message from Luke 7, then she had an altar call. She called forward the people who were like the Pharisees, and needed to understand God’s grace. She also called forward the people who were sinners and wanted to receive God’s grace.
In the small church, we had at least 15 people come forward to receive prayer. We had women who looked like they’d been in a whole lot of pain. We had grown men bawling their eyes out. We had youth boldly stepping forward and crying out to the Lord.
I got to pray with them, speak life into them. I got to cry with them. What a privilege and an honor to encourage my brothers and sisters in El Salvador, laying my hands on their faces, declaring God’s power in their lives.
The Holy Spirit moved in a way I had never seen before in that little church.
I was told we would be doing healing ministry tonight, but I was under the impression it’d be physical healing. Instead, we received spiritual healing. Inner wounds, shame, hurts from the past… there was healing tonight in the house of the Lord.
Thank You God
