I have 4 new sisters and 2 new brothers. I have 6 lives to invest into.

Eyes on me at all times, and my words are heard at all times.

My ears will be attuned to these new voices.

I get to show them Christ in me, and see Christ in them.

I get to put scripture to practice as we smooth out our differences.

What a treat to bear with each other, and forgive whatever grievances we may have against one another. We will practice forgiveness. We will practice peace-making. Unity. Thanksgiving. Joy in trials. We will sharpen one another.

I am thankful for my brand new family.

My leader is a Godly, funny, caring, careful listener. He worships the Lord not just in song and with a guitar, but with his entire life.

My other brother is the textbook definition of a prayer warrior, affectionate, and an encouraging communicator. He smiles through difficult situations. 

It’s such a blessing to see strong men of God leading. They are patient, righteous, and rare.

My sisters are as different as it gets. They are all so funny and encouraging. I see Christ in each one of them in different ways. Meekness, grace, strength, compassion, altruism, kindness, gentleness, humility… they are clothed with it, as it says they should be in Colossians 3:12.

Spiritual growth would happen just by being around these people, in any setting.

Can you imagine how much will yield from their influence as we serve in 11 nations??

My heart smiles at the thought.

Thank You God for Your unfailing provision in my Godly traveling companions.
