Patience has been the theme in this entire World Race adventure thus far.

I had to wait and pray for the Lord to confirm the calling I heard!

The Lord said GO!!!

Then I had to wait to meet with mentors and pastor Dave, to make sure my church would encourage me!

Mentors said GO!!!

Then I applied to the World Race and had to wait 9 very long days… I’m pretty sure they were longer than 24 hours each. The last one felt like at least 57 hours long, and I got the call after lunch.

World Race said GO!!!

After being accepted, I decided to wait ONE WEEK before telling details to everybody. I told everyone that I’m accepted, but they don’t know what the World Race really is YET!

I’ve been praying, writing, spending time in the Word, and cleaning my apartment to move out at the end of the month.  (I’ll write about my new living arrangements in another blog!)

I’m so excited to talk to everyone about all the details, have one-on-one conversations, and allow for the Lord to move the hearts of my family, friends, and church members about helping to send me.

Oh and hallelujah, I finished my pledge letter today!

God, I pray you break the hearts of the people around me for Your Kingdom, that they ache to reach the lost. You’ve done it for my heart, do it for theirs. In Christ’s name I humbly ask, Amen!
